Moulding

Apecs offers both a Vulcanised and Cold Pour Moulding Service. We have a variety of sizes moulds available.

For Vulcanising we require a Solid Metal Master Pattern. This type of Mould is the most used and provides strong long lasting moulds. These moulds may have shrinkage of approximately 2 – 3% so an allowance needs to be made when making your original Master Pattern.

Cold Pour Silicon Moulds are useful for Hollow or Delicate Pieces. This type of mould is often used for items which are not made of metal. These moulds are more expensive and are not as tough as the Vulcanised moulds. The Shrinkage is approximately 1%		   Assorted Ring Castings from Apecs
