The mould is now cut in two and the other half of the
setting will then be released. The mould has been cut in a zig zag fashion and the edges
of the pattern followed where possible. This ensures that the mould locates back together
properly and the part lines are kept to a minimum. The mould is then carefully "cut
in" along edges and claws to allow the mould to fill easily and the wax patterns to
release without distortion.
